Hi, we’re Seaham locals with a passion for our hometown, and for welcoming the people who come to discover it.
We’ve watched Seaham flourish into a thriving visitor destination, with brilliant new businesses choosing to make the town their home.
Our family’s roots here run deep. My Grandparents owned the bottom block of Church Street, the main shopping street in Seaham. Where my Grandad opened Seaham’s very first television shop, back when every television was black and white!
For many years, Bath Terrace (seen in the photo behind Mam & Dad) was both our family home and a very successful bed and breakfast. It was a real privilege to call such a special part of Seaham home.
I grew up on and around the beach, and you’ll still find me there today, usually catching a sunrise (sunrises on a Seaham Beach are spectacular). My Dad still runs a property and maintenance business, working across the North East.
We’ve also operated successful holiday lets in Northumberland, so we’re genuinely excited to bring that experience and passion home to Seaham and open The Lobster Pot, just five minutes from the seafront.
We open on 2nd October 2026 and our first weekend is already booked! Watch this space as we bring the house to life and begin creating an exciting new property portfolio.
Thanks,
Vikki
